Local AARP Chapters
As expressed by AARP’s founder, Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, “chapters are unique in that they are service centers and serve as a focal point for all people 55+ to serve and advocate for others.” The Cordova Chapter was chartered in 2011 and is one of six chapters in West Tennessee. Approximately 950 AARP chapters exists throughout the U.S.
Each chapter is a chartered entity of the AARP national organization striving to bring people of all ages, occupations and skillsets together. There’s a place for everyone in the AARP Cordova Chapter. Check us out if you’re interested in cultivating lifelong intergenerational relationships while serving others in supportive and positive environments.
